Orbit Reading is a high school level reading book approved by the Japanese Ministry of Education to be used throughout Japan.  I am one of four primary authors of this high school reading textbook.  Each lesson builds upon itself, starting out with short, but interesting readings, graduating to more involved readings that are longer and more in depth.  There are a series of activities and source materials that are available which accompany this textbook.  This book is published by Sanseido Publishing Company, Tokyo.
